Portraits And Self Portraits Introduction
Portrait Tips
1. "You may want to make photographs of people going about their business—vendors in a market, a crowd at a sports event, the line at a theater. You don't want them to appear aware of the camera."
2. "Whenever you are photographing someone, try to think of details of their body or dress that would get your message across in an indirect way."
Environmental Portrait
I really like how the environment is actively showing what he does/who he is. The details of his outfit and his facial expression is all a part of this photo.
Photography Self Portrait
I love the feel of this photo. His facial expression his jacket the cig and the background its really simple.
Casual Portrait
I love how the photo is really clear on just her and the background is a simple color and its clear and just her.
Who will I shoot: I know I will be spending ThanksGiving with family, and my grandpa was a hot air balloon pilot so he has a lot of really cool things like a jacket, hat, etc. I might take photos of him with those things. I will also be spending some time downtown at HousePark, which is a skatepark with some friends. I love taking photos of them.
Where will I shoot: HousePark skatepark, Temple Texas. Austin Texas.
What will I do to make the shoot successful: I'm going to take my time with the photos and not finish until I get ones I love and would love to see hanging up outside. If I don't get a tri pod here my sister (who doesn't live with me) might have one so I can ask if I could borrow hers.
